One Set day of the week, which is to be determined by Kelowna Parks and Recreation due to registration numbers and floor time availability.
Larger Groups can make requests for specific day of the week and we will do our best to accommodate

SKILL & EXPERIENCE LEVELS
All skill and experience levels, beginner to advanced, are welcome!
We expect to have multiple divisions to match all skills sets, experience levels and competitive interests
DIVISIONS
All of our adult leagues have divisions for all different skill sets and experience levels, we will not be able to determine formats of divisions, until all teams are registered.
CBHA and BCBHA SANCTIONED LEAGUE
This is the only recognized league in Kelowna by the BCBHA (British Columbia Ball Hockey Association) and the Canadian Ball Hockey Association (CBHA).
This gives our league and players access to:
- Limited Medical and Liability Insurance
- Access to all Provincial, Regional, National and Global tournaments and events put on by the Canadian Ball Hockey Association
OFFICIALS, TIMEKEEPERS AND STATS
- We use a two referee system.
- All of our officials will be certified by through the BCBHA and CBHA
- Timekeepers provided every game for clock management and statistical entry
- Teams and Players will have full access to comprehensive online team stats and standings
GAME LENGTH (6O Minutes)
- 5 min warm up,
- 3 x 13 minute periods (3rd period stop time), Penalty Shots (regular season)
EQUIPMENT
Ball Hockey requires very minimal equipment. All that is required is running shoes, gloves and a helmet. However, all CBHA (Canadian Ball Hockey Association) leagues use a certified low bounce orange. The ball is a hard and at the elite levels, can reach speeds at over 100 km/hour.
Mandatory Equipment Requirements
CSA approved helmets (facemasks under 18)
CSA or ZEBRA Ball Hockey gloves
Hockey stick (no plastic blades) and running shoes.
Recommended Equipment Requirements (optional)
Shin pads - ice hockey (must be covered), soccer or ball hockey shin pads
Protective cup
Goaltenders
CBHA approved DGel balls are low bounce and hard. Therefore, goaltenders must use CSA approved ice hockey gear; no street hockey equipment can be used (except in Initiation & Novice youth leagues or unless otherwise approved by the league).
All Goaltenders in Atom (and older) must have their own goal equipmment. In Initiation and Novice, goal equipment (pads, blocker, glove, chest pad) will be provided to teams if they are needed. In circumstances where a team may not have a regular goalie, the league will provide some.

- Chest and arm pads
- Helmet with cage
- CSA approved blocker and trapper
- Protective hockey pants

If you are registering to play with one other person or multiple people - please read GROUP #2.
a. FREE AGENT PLAYER - INDIVIDUAL
Registering as a single Free Agent Player and would like to be placed on team.
Note: Your team rep or league will contact you (via email) prior to league play.
b. FREE AGENT PLAYERS - GROUP (2-12 players)
Group of players wanting to register and play together, but don't have enough to make a full team.
You must read below and follow steps in order to be placed together.
In order to be on the same team: All players must register individually and follow instructions below.
1. Prior to registering choose one person as the group rep
2. During the online registration process, there is a "Group Representative" box. Everyone in your group, including the group representative, must put that players full name in the "Group Representative" box.
* This is the only way we can identify players that are wanting to play together*
REFUND POLICY ADULTS
Individual Payments
- Any registration cancelled before the registration deadline will be charged an automatic $50 admin fee
- Any registrations cancelled after registration deadline charged $75 admin fee + $30 Jersey Fee
- Any registration cancelled during season
$75 admin fee + $30 jersey fee + ($15 x # of games TEAM has played)
NO refunds after team has played 4 games
ADULT TEAM REFUND POLICY (No Team Registration in Womens)
- Cancelling before the registration deadline
A. EVERYONE Paid individually $50/player
B. Paid full team fee: $500 deducted from team fee, remainder refunded
- Cancelling after the schedule has been created, NO REFUNDS
A. Paid individually: no refund
B. Paid full team fee: no refund
Players who are injured (i.e., for the season) and can provide a doctors note, will be refunded at the $10/game rate (played by your team).
